Rogers Wireless Planned Outage – January 17th 2009
Written by admin on January 13, 2010 – 5:31 pm -
Apparently all the major blogs are pointing out a planned outage for Rogers and RIM themselves. This will affect internet service and enterprise email (BES and BIS). The window of down time should be Start Time: 02:00 AM (EDT) End Time: 06:00 AM (EDT).
Can’t really complain as I’ll be asleep for part of it… But it only makes sense to pass the message on to as many as possible so no one feels out of the loop.
This is all part of routine maintenance and fixes being performed on the infrastructure. Basically, whether your registering a new device, roaming, sending or receiving emails or trying to browse the web, you wont be able to. At least you know about it though.

ATT & TMobile Go Head To Head on Amazon
Written by sonic on January 8, 2010 – 3:36 pm -What surprises me that ATT & Tmobile are both offering the phone at the current moment for the same price, $49.99. What’s different is that AT&T seem to offer their services at a minimum of $45.00 per month – and Tmobile is offering theirs at $39 unlimited… Tmobile seems to have a simpler easier to understand packages and plans and AT&T is a challenge to read up on to know what your getting with all their provisos and extras.
Keep your eye out on these though, I noticed before the holidays, AT&T was offering theirs up for a buck with signup… but truthfully, what good is a buck of the dataplan sucks?
